The Monroe Education Foundation is a 501c3 non profit organization created to enhance the high academic goals of the Monroe Public Schools. The Foundation seeks to provide funding support in order to enrich and enhance the core curriculum for students across the school district.
2K in 2 Months…Thank You To All Who Supported This Initiative
The MEF set a goal to raise enough funds to stock school libraries with eBooks for the fall.
We wanted to raise $2,000 during the two months of summer vacation so that eBooks could be in school libraries this fall. We are excited to announce that we have met this goal and then some. The MEF will be at the September 18 Board of Education meeting to present the schools with the funds raised during this initiative.

The Monroe Education Foundation is comprised of community volunteers that seek tax-deductible gifts and bequests from individuals, businesses, and organizations in support of our public school system. We support excellence and innovation in education by raising private funds to support programs and initiatives not covered in the Town’s approved budget for the school district. This source of funds will enhance the educational experience for students, giving them an opportunity to excel and enjoy something more meaningful academically.
